It all comes in an elegant wooden box which is constructed in the shape of a book, complete with a hinged cover. Only 4,000 were made and the package retails for $150.00.

C.A.O. Poker Set:
The national mania for poker and the historic tie between cigars and card games is captured by C.A.O. in its unique Humidor Carry Bag.

It’s essentially an evening’s entertainment in a bag. One side includes two decks of playing cards, 300 poker chips and five dice. The other is a Humidipak-equipped cigar compartment that has a Spanish Cedar lining and room for about 15 cigars (which are not included, sorry). There’s also a pouch for storing a lighter and cutter.

The whole bag is made from wear-resistant ballistic nylon and has a shoulder strap and a carry handle. It retails for $200.00 at participating C.A.O. dealers.

Zino Acrylic Humidor:
Humidors come in all shapes and sizes, but aren’t always a match for the decor. The Zino series is a unique, ultra-modern approach to cigar storage that uses high-quality acrylics to create an elegant box that fits in anywhere. It’s especially appealing in a modernist environment in which a typical wood humidor would be out of place.

There are two models, both of which come with an incredibly dependable humidifier that requires only monthly refills with distilled water. The small model holds 35-50 cigars and is just 9 1/2 inches wide by 6 3/4 inches deep; it retails for $210.00. The larger model holds 75-90 cigars and measures 14 1/2 inches wide and 10 3/8 inches deep and is priced at $310.00.

You can choose – in either size – a transparent or smoked finish and either chrome or brass fittings. One disadvantage: these humidors close with a latch and are not lockable.

Andre Garcia St. James Collection cases:
Carrying your cigars in an elegant leather case is easy. But you have to find space in your pockets or briefcase for your lighter and cutter. Not any more.

The Andre Garcia St. James Collection not only has room for as many as 16 cigars, but also offers a special zip-around pocket at the top in which you can store your lighter and cutter so it’s always with your cigars, but does not have to be with you.

The telescoping cases are of the highest quality, lined with Spanish Cedar and including a cedar divider that protects and separates your cigars. There are three styles: the Croco line in brown or black in sizes from 6 to 16 cigars, priced from $229.00 to $279.00; the St. Barnes in yellow or Cognac red, with sizes from 6-16 cigars and priced from $229.99 to $279.99, and the Classic, offered in white, gloss black or brown leather, also in sizes for 6-16 cigars and priced from $229.99 to $299.99. Not cheap, but this will be your favorite case from the moment you unwrap it.

Romeo y Julieta Wine Rack and Humidor:
Here’s the ultimate storage facility for anyone who loves cigars and spirits. Altadis U.S.A. created three styles of this three-tier cabinet with a light-colored, dark-colored or two-tone finish.

Unlike the previous wine rack and humidor combinations, this is a fully-enclosed cabinet with the humidor – holding up to 100 cigars – on the top with a two-tier wine cabinet below. The wine tiers can hold up to 25 bottles of wine or another favored spirit in six sections.

It’s an impressive piece and one that will require a lot of wrapping paper. But it’s a unique design and could be the perfect he & she gift, combining smoke and spirits. The suggested retail is about $720.00 at a participating retailer, plus local sales taxes.

There are plenty of other terrific items you can select, but these will get you started. Anyone who receives any of these items this holiday season will owe you a lot of favors a long time into the future.
