We hope you’re enjoying our new home-page format, the product of nearly a year of planning and programming.

Our goal is to make the site easiest to use, easier to scan and to introduce some new features to help our readers:

The new technology behind our site will enable us to provide an easier-to-access set of reference documents, including much faster-loading versions of the Comparison Shopper. We can do this by providing significant amounts of our content in Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer to access these documents; most computers have this program already installed. If you need it, it’s free from Adobe.

The Cigar Gallery is a new feature, offering cigar and accessory brands a showcase with more in-depth information than we have room for in our listings. We have added some additional features, including a monthly drawing for free cigars, a brand new “Did You Know” section and a monthly look at great cigar-related artwork.

The Cigar Gallery is organized in a magazine format and will change monthly. Look for special offers from manufacturers in this space in the future.

We are revving up a video section, to be called CigarVision. We’ll have demonstrations of accessories and looks at new cigars, retailers and other items of interest, starting later this month.

All of our usual features are still here, of course. Let us know if you have specific items you’d like to see added as we try to make this site even more useful for you.
