In the tumult of the decades and the move of many smokers to handmade cigars, Bering finally came out as an all-handmade line from Honduras in 1990 after its parent company was purchased by Swisher International in 1985.

Today, Bering no longer sits on a perch at the top of the sales charts, but as a mild-to-medium-bodied cigar, it’s well made and still an excellent value. For one week, it’s going to be a ridiculously good value.
