J-R Cigars:
In 2005, Lew Rothman worked with the Eiroas and created a full-bodied, Honduran-made blend with a Mexican-grown maduro wrapper called Camacho Negro, offered in spectacular chests of 25. In an e-mail alert last week, Rothman noted that sales haven’t been what he’d hoped for . . . so he’s clearing the shelves in a special that available only until Wednesday, April 2 at midnight Eastern time:

> Churchill (7 x 50), in a chest of 25 was $109.95, now $59.95!

> Robusto (5 x 50), 25 was $89.95, now $49.95, and

> Robusto Larga (6 x 50), 25 was $99.95, now $54.95.

  • Carlos Torano Noventa, the new anniversary cigar that’s ultra-smooth:
