ImageSpecials on 25 brands from the big three: the Dominican, Honduras and Nicaragua!

Los Angeles, April 22 – When the legal smoke finally cleared in 1975 and Consolidated Cigar (now part of Altadis U.S.A.) began production of the famed H. Upmann brand for the American market, the blend featured a glorious Cameroon wrapper.

Alas, the Cameroon leaf market crashed a few years later and Consolidated had to move to a very nice Indonesian wrapper for the H. Upmann line and it’s still in use today. But the market for Cameroon leaf eventually recovered and in 2003, Altadis U.S.A. created the H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon series. It’s been a runaway hit ever since. Mike’s Cigars has them this week at very nice prices on seven sizes, at up to 22 percent off.

We found plenty of other good specials this week, but we have a reader’s-only bargain to start off with:

Our reader’s-only special:
One of the great values in cigars today is mixed-filler cigars. These are cigars which use both long-filler and medium- or short-filler leaves instead of all long-filler leaves and are almost always value-priced. Mike’s Cigars is offering, specially for CigarCyclopedia.com readers, the Nicaraguan-made Trinidad y Cia. line. It’s offered in bundles of 20 in five different sizes, all for $19.95 per bundle, with a Ronson Wind II lighter (a $6.95 value) added as a bonus. Click here to take advantage of this readers-only special. Our thanks to Mike’s for the offer; you can buy as many of these specials as you like until 9 a.m. Eastern time on Monday, April 28, or until supplies run out.
