Los Angeles, June 24 – There are gimmicks and then there is the Leopard.

A size within the popular Felipe Gregorio’s Felipe Power series, the Leopard is a 5 1/2-inch by 55-ring perfecto that features a Costa Rican-grown wrapper from pre-Castro Cuban seeds nurtured into the 21st Century at the Tabacos de la Cordillera.

But that’s not what makes it special. Leopards are known for their spots and this Leopard is covered with spots, or – if you prefer – polka dots!

The spots are actually small circles of Connecticut wrapper leaf hand-attached to the cigar’s Costa Rican wrapper!

It’s most definitely a conversation starter and the Leopard – along with other shapes in the Felipe Power line – are being offered in sampler packs of five at Cigars International. They aren’t cheap, but works of art rarely are!
