Los Angeles, July 22 – With most of the cigar trade making their way back home after the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association convention and trade show in Las Vegas last week, we didn’t see that many specials this week. But more are coming soon.

Famous Smoke Shop’s Arthur Zaretzky cooked up a couple of doozies, however, and they’re highlighted below.

AtlanticCigar.com:
Danish legend Erik Nording is one of the most respected pipe makers in the world, but he also likes a good cigar! He asked Rocky Patel to create a special cigar for him and Rocky came through; you can try the results in samplers this week:

> Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), five was $28.45, now $19.00, best in our survey;

> Toro (6 1/2 x 56), five was $28.45, now $20.00, or try

> Torpedo (4 x 54), five was $21.40, now $17.00.

Famous Smoke Shop:
Two sensational specials on two popular brands:

  • Joya de Nicaragua Serie C Toro (6 x 50), in the box of 20 normally $103.99, now $59.95!

    Romeo y Julieta No. 2 en Tubo (6 1/8 x 52) in glass jars, normally 20 for $121.99, now $84.99!

    J-R Cigars:
    J-R has the best price in our survey on a perennial favorite: Churchill-sized La Gloria Cubana Glorias Inmensas (7 1/4 x 48), in boxes of 25 were $79.25, now $76.95.

    More on the new La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Miami:
    As noted last week during our IPCPR coverage, the Miami-made edition of La Gloria Cubana will soon fade into the sunset and the only La Gloria Cubana line made at El Credito will be the new Artesanos de Miami line.
