MORE STEALS! MORE DEALS!Special holiday promotions from Atlantic Cigar and Cigars International

Los Angeles, December 9 – It’s holiday time for sure. Some of our favorite vendors – listed on our exclusive “Comparison Shopper” spreadsheet on our value-packed CigarWire service -- are in the spirit of the season and offering some notable values:

Atlantic Cigar:
The boys at Atlantic had a big time slashing prices and introducing a barrel of new products during the last fortnight:

• Popular Bahia Blu in a sampler of three: one of each size for $11.95.

• Excellent Cuesta Rey Centro Fino Sun Grown sampler – which ranked no. 6 in our list of top medium-bodied cigars – in a pack of four different sizes for $19.95. It’s the perfect way to try out this brand that we think quite highly of.

• Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Silver Series, another great sampler: a pack of four with two Robusto Corto (4 7/8 x 52) and two Grand Churchill (7 x 50) for just $12.95.

• The lowest prices we have seen yet on General Cigar’s new Diablo brand:

> Caliente (5 x 50), now $90.70 for 25;
> Gran Fuego (6 x 60 torpedo), now $102.25 for 25;
> Picante (5 x 40), now $102.25 for 40, and
> Pimiento (61/2 x 45), now $94.56 for 25.

• Low prices on the popular, full-bodied Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970s. The best of the bunch are the Robusto Grande (51/2 x 52), 20 for $56.25, the Churchills (6 7/8 x 48), 20 for $60.63 and the Belicosos (6 x 54 torpedo), 20 for $65.63.

• Five-packs on the Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion series, ranked no. 7 in our list of the top full-bodied cigars. You can try them for yourself:

> Consul (4 ½ x 52), now 14.75 for five, or
> Torpedo (6 x 52), now $18.70 for five.

• La Perla Habana Black Pearl Rojo Toro (6 x 50), was $56.30 for a box of 20, now just $50.40. Full-bodied and perfect for standing in the snow while listening to your wife and her caroling group perform for an hour!

• One Off, the wild but big-flavored brand from Italian airline magnate Andrea Molinari which ranked no. 15 on our list of the top full-bodied cigars:

> Perfecto (6 1/8 x 52), was $216.00 for a box of 25, now $192.50;

> Mareva (5 x 42), was $135.00 for 25, now $115.00;

• Saint Luis Rey in five-packs, the first sampler offer we have seen for this nice, full-bodied brand. Check out the prices: Rothchilds (5 x 54) for $12.38; Belicosos (6 1/8 x 52) for $14.62 and Toros (6 x 50) just $13.50 for five.

• The vastly underrated Savinelli Nicaraguan Reserve blend, a sampler is now available with four different sizes for just $17.50.

Cigars International:
Keith Meier and his team are offering more chances to try some wonderful cigars without breaking the bank:

• Never-discounted, never-sampler-sized Dunhill (Dominican) Peravias, the biggest of the line of these excellent, mild-bodied cigars at 7 x 50, now available in a pack of five for $43! The famed Dunhill logo is pictured above.

• Fabulous Helix mild-bodied cigars – ranked no. 3 among all mild-bodied cigars – available to try in tubes: either the Cylinder (61/2 x 44) or the Tubulars (5 x 50) for $13! Be sure to try the natural rather than the maduro for a mild taste treat.

• Marvelous Indian Vintage cigars, also ranked (#16) in our list of full-bodied cigars, at discount:

> 1990 Torpedo (6 1/4 x 52) was $175.00 for 20, now $157.00;

> 1990 or 1992 Churchills (7 x 48) both were $150.00 for 20, now $135.00;

> 1990 or 1992 Robustos (51/2 x 50), were $130.00, now $117.00.

• Vegas de Fonsecas are back at CI, a more full-bodied smoke that the regular Fonseca line, available in a five-pack of Sobrinos (5 x 50) for just $19.

• For the collector or La Flor Dominicana fans, the “Camacho Face-Off” blend by Litto Gomez is available for just $109.95 for 24, down from the regular price of $125.00.

We’ll have more values coming to you in our continuing review of top retailers, as well as our own picks for the best holiday cigars during the next week. Stay tuned!
