Plus: our Register & Win winner of the week!Los Angeles, June 19 – The H. Upmann brand needs no introduction. Since 1844 in Havana, it’s been one of the standard names in cigars and instantly recognized around the world. When the post-Embargo edition of H. Upmann brand was introduced to the U.S. market in 1975, it was made with Cameroon wrappers. As Cameroon leaf became difficult to find, the blend was changed to today’s version, using Indonesian wrappers. But in late 2003, Altadis U.S.A. went “back to the future” and re-introduced the Cameroon-wrapped H. Upmann. It’s been an enormous hit and is deeply discounted – while supplies last – at Habana House. But that’s hardly the end of this week’s specials: AtlanticCigar.com: One of the best values you can find is the G.R. Specials line from Honduras.
